Weighs and adds specified quantities of chemicals to brine to purify solution preparatory to further treatment and refining of salt: Weighs chemicals, such as soda ash and lime, using scale, and pours them into brine tank. Removes residue from tank, using water hose and pumps. Dissolves specified tonnage of unprocessed salt in water to produce brine.
